I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY SON FOR CHRISTMAS AND HE LOVES IT. IT IS FUN TO PLAY AND JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF DIFFICULTY TO KEEP HIM ENGAGED.THIS GAME IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Bought for tween who is a Secret Saturdays lover. She has fun playing the game but it was easy and completed it in about a week.

Summary: "Another licensed piece of crud"

Unfortunately the title says it all. Although the critics seem to have scored this game higher than some of the recent licensed games based on kids shows I would give it 2 stars.

Pros: Graphics are good, no freezes, framerate seems fine. Sound is o.k. Characters were fine.

Cons: Everything else. Basically the game play. Which was sub par in our opinion.

As with almost all licensed games its either too easy or too hard. This game has the honor of BEING BOTH. Yep you heard right. Its either too easy or too hard. An exercise in frustration for your young game player. My son made it 1/3 of the way through and then asked me to trade it in. Note that I said he asked me to trade it--this game didn't even rate me having to go through his stash pile to ask him--he literally GAVE it to me to trade. Ugh.

So why 2 stars? Well he got about 8 hours out of it. Since I paid the original price (you'll see it has already reduced pricing and that is never a good sign either) which was way more than this I figure it was roughly the same cost as a movie out except for snacks. I buy cheap animal crackers so the movie would have cost more since it takes a twenty to buy soda, popcorn, and a small candy bar at the theatre. That's why the 2 stars.

Not recommended. At all. Do yourself and your kids a favor and get them a Sly Cooper if they haven't played that for PS2. Its excellent and well worth your dollars!
